Flight Testing at Shasta Airport near Redding California

Mission
The Liberty 500TT is a single-engine, single-seat turbine rotorcraft used as a primary time builder to train students in basic rotorcraft flying skills of two bladed rotor systems commonly used in civilian and military rotorcraft.

Features
Designed by LH, the L-500TT’s low fuel consumption, light weight construction, and low maintenance cost, helps reduce the overall total ownership and operational cost of this training aircraft.

This entry level turbine rotorcraft was designed as a time builder for the rotorcraft student and its 600 lb light empty weight and 500 lb useful load make it the worlds most cost effective rotorcraft time builder.

The L-500TT is powered by a powerful single stage gas power turbine engine that delivers up to 100 shaft horsepower.

Because of its excellent power-to-weight ratio, the rotorcraft can perform an initial climb of 2,000 ft or (609 m) per minute and can reach 10,000 ft or (3048 m) in less than five minutes.

The rotorcraft can be ordered with a variety of advanced avionics packages including sunlight-readable liquid crystal displays.

Specifications: The Liberty 500TT is a single seat light turbine helicopter using a 19'2" Diameter, two bladed Semi rigid teetering rotor systems with a 500 lb useful load and powered by a 100 hp turbine engine.
