Mission
The
Liberty
800TT is a single-engine, dual-seat primary turbine trainer used with an
instructor to train students in basic rotorcraft flying skills of two
bladed rotor systems commonly used in civilian and military rotorcraft.
Features
Designed by LHL, the L-800TT’s low fuel consumption, light weight
construction, and low maintenance cost, helps reduce the overall total ownership
and operational cost of this dual training aircraft. This rotorcraft can be
configured for both the civilian and military trainer markets.
This entry level turbine rotorcraft was designed with the turbine rotorcraft
student in mind. This turbine
rotorcraft is perfect for dual training, recurrent training, check rides for
rotorcraft student. There are plenty of other mission applications for this cost
effective turbine rotorcraft with and its 800 lb light empty weight and 800 lb
useful load make it the worlds most cost effective turbine training rotorcraft.
The L-800TT is powered by a powerful RR-250 series gas power turbine engine that
delivers up to 250 shaft horsepower.
.
Because of its excellent
power-to-weight ratio, the rotorcraft can perform an initial climb of 2,000 ft
or (609 m) per minute and can reach 10,000 ft or (3048 m) in less than five
minutes.
The rotorcraft will perform limited aerobatic (with no neg. gs) and can be
ordered with 3 different versions of advanced avionics packages including
sunlight-readable liquid crystal displays as see below. (1.
Basic VFR, 2. Basic VFR with EFIS, or 3. IFR/EFIS Training Kit)
Specifications:
