Liberty Technologies Inc. 1997-2015 Richard Stitt started his visionary work using creative problem solving techniques with helicopters on July 5, 1997 and later founded Stitt Industries Inc, a Nevada Corporation (SII, and the Company) in May of 2001 to support approximately 502 aircraft owners with OEM parts, service and technical information for the Mini 500 series aircraft formerly developed by Revolution Helicopter Corporation, Inc. In October 2004, Kit Planes Magazine included his turbine development work in an article written by Rick Lindstrom entitled, "The Top 20, Part 2: Meet the Most Influential Figures who have shaped the Homebuilt Aviation Industry." Mr. Stitt had learned thru developing Several Business Plans, the SBA and networking, that a company willing to relocate to another state, could negotiate and secure benefits that just are not available to local business owners. Stitt's company had moved several times, each time to a larger site, and he wanted to find a facility large enough that he could rent out portions but not sink large amounts of company capital and management time into moving again. At the time, the company had letters of intent for 15 million dollars in custom built product and two investors wanting up buy 2 million in preferred stock. Mr. Stitt called the new company Liberty Technologies Inc and sent his business plan to the Kansas Dept of Commerce for review. Within 6 weeks, LTI had secured 5 million dollars in IRB (Industrial Revenue Bonds) and a building under contract in Ellsworth, KS. Article from KC Business Journal TV Interview with Mr. Stitt
Several of our customer helped with the customers.
We have completed three turbine conversion...the blue mini on the right is just starting. Our Vertical Challenge competitor in the background did not show after reserving a booth space. Kit Planes and Ken Armstrong spent time with us discussing the future of Revolution's Mini 500 Turbine. We want people to know that we support the mini's and even with all the bad things that have happened...we have demonstrated the ability and commitment to support all the existing customers and more with our turbine conversion that premiered two years ago at Sun N Fun. We have several customers interested in this blue mini...Thank all our customers for their support. Our customer wore the grass off around the mini's at the Air show. This is Randy and Andreas Mini at our shop. After the theft of this beautiful aircraft last fall...it took months to bring it back up the its original condition. Thank all of our customers that helped make it happen. The Magnum PI aircraft has completed it's in house testing and has shipped to Austria... my last report from Andreas, was that he had completed 47 hours of flight testing and was saving money to finish his Airworthiness for unrestricted flight. Good Luck Andreas on your flight testing.
